LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL UNNEEDED, OBSELETE, OR UNFIT PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE MEIGS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS BY SEALED BID.

Pursuant to the Meigs County Commissioners Resolution adopted on November 25, 2025, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 307.12, the Meigs County Engineer/Highway Department will receive sealed bids for the sale of multiple items of unneeded, obsolete, or unfit county property.

Items for sealed bid include: 1998 Chrysler Cirrus (titled), 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS (titled), Ford F-Series truck (untitled), GMC truck (untitled), 2008 Ford Taurus (titled), Cadillac SRX (untitled), 2004 Chevrolet Impala (titled), 1995 Toyota 4Runner (titled), dinner bell w/ stand, three-bottom plow, two (2) gate panels, two (2) disc harrows, John Deere 1010 tractor, Ford 5600 tractor, two (2) tractor wheel weights, John Deere compact utility tractor w/ front blade, loader, and backhoe attachments, truck bed, pallet forks, a small brush hog, a 3-point hitch crane, two (2) mower decks, thirteen (13) stoneware crocks, kettle, and suitcase weights.

All items will be assigned an identification number and may be viewed during the hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, at the Meigs County Highway Department, located at 34110 Fairgrounds Rd, Pomeroy, Ohio, 45769. Note: Some items may be stored inside for security purposes, but may still be viewed.

Sealed bids must include the item number, the item description, the bidder’s name/phone number, and bid amount. Multiple items may be combined into one sealed bid, but amounts for each item must be listed separately. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the office of the Meigs County Highway Department with the title “MCHD Sealed Bids” at 34110 Fairgrounds Road, Pomeroy, Ohio, 45769, by December 22, 2025, at 1:00pm, at which time bids will be opened and tabulated. Highest bidders will be contacted after bids have been tabulated to arrange payment and pick-up. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All property is sold as-is, where-is.
